Bohnenkamp impresses at Agritechnica 2019

Agritechnica 2019 comes to an end with high visitor numbers and a new record for an international audience. A total of 450,000 guests visited the world's leading trade fair for agricultural technology. In an increasingly international environment, Bohnenkamp AG successfully positioned itself as a service-oriented and Europe-wide leading tyre wholesaler.

Agritechnica was a complete success for Bohnenkamp AG. The tyre specialist from Osnabrück in Lower Saxony experienced a thoroughly positive attitude among customers and interested parties. "The economic environment in the agricultural sector and trade could, of course, be easier at the moment. We were therefore doubly pleased to have many fruitful and positive discussions at the stand. The interaction with our contact partners has painted a moderately positive picture of the current situation", says Thomas Pott, General Sales Manager of Bohnenkamp AG, pleased with the overall positive atmosphere at Agritechnica. "In the past few days, we have held many promising discussions and were able to establish our core topics with numerous customers and interested parties.”

IF/VF technology convinces users

Here, the Bohnenkamp sales manager is alluding to tyres with IF/VF technology. The tyre specialist now also offers these soil-friendly products for towed machines, and Bohnenkamp also stocks the world's first IF/VF forestry tyre exclusively in its range. Because the new tyres have an impressive price/performance ratio and their effect on fuel balance and soil compaction can be clearly measured, demand is rising rapidly. Henrik Schmudde, the company's head of marketing, underlines the trend towards highly flexible tyres during a press briefing at the stand. "In the last two years, we have more than doubled the number of IF/VF tyres in our range", explains Schmudde, referring to the complete agricultural catalogue published in time for the trade fair.

International audience suits Bohnenkamp

In addition to 320,000 domestic visitors, Agritechnica attracted over 130,000 other guests from all over the world. In this international environment, Bohnenkamp was once again able to gain recognition as a tyre specialist represented throughout Europe. Bohnenkamp now has branches from the Benelux countries to Almaty in Kazakhstan near the Chinese border and is represented in 28 countries. "Of course, this also appeals to an international audience and established transnational brands", explains Thomas Pott, highlighting the Group's strong starting position. The company wants to consolidate this by the next Agritechnica in 2021.
